Redmi Note 9 India Launch Date Set to March 12: Redmi India Teaser

Xiaomi all set to launch its upcoming flagship in India on 12th March 2020. The company already teased its smartphone named Redmi Note 9 series launch on its social media channel and sent media invite.

The new series should include the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro as the successors to the Redmi Note 8 mobile and Redmi Note 8 Pro Smartphone, respectively. Since Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series popular for its affordability, the Redmi Note 9 series expected to come under the price range of Rs 20,000 and offer a list of fascinating features.

Based on the teaser image posted by the company on the Redmi India Twitter account, the Redmi Note 9 series comes with quad rear camera setup. Upcoming Xiaomi phones appear to have a square-shaped camera setup, which is similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Nova 5i Pro mobile. Along with the camera setup, the teaser image suggests a faster refresh rate on the new Redmi mobile. You can safely expect a 90Hz display.

The Mi.com website and Amazon India carry an identical microsite that suggests some other features of the new Redmi Note 9 series. The microsite highlights Redmi Note 9 India launch date, new design, processor, and gaming features on the latest Redmi phones along with fast charging technology on the latest Redmi Note models.

Xiaomi also posted a video through the Redmi India YouTube channel. This video gives a sight at the history of the Redmi Note series in India and highlights its legacy would continue with the new phones. This video ends with the teaser image of the Redmi Note 9 India launch date.

We can expect that the new Redmi Note phones come with a 5G support at an affordable price than the Realme X50 Pro 5G and Vivo iQoo 3, which are the initial 5G phones in the country.

Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi India Managing Director, has announced in January about its partnership with Qualcomm to launch one of the first Snapdragon 720G phones in the country.
