Oppo is working on the Reno 3 series successor, and we’ve seen multiple leaks with phones from the upcoming Reno 4 series already. These phones have been leaked via renders several times in the past. The Oppo Reno 4 and Oppo Reno 4 Pro launch date was finally teased by Oppo now. These two phones are set to be unveiled on June 5 and pre-ordered by Chinese retailer JD.com.
Oppo took Weibo to put out an Oppo Reno 4 series teaser video. This teaser video gives tips on the design of the Oppo Reno 4 as well as the date of the product launch in China. The Oppo Reno 4 series is scheduled to debut on June 5th in China. Also, famous smartphone retailer JD.com has a pre-booking page of the Oppo Reno 4 smartphone series.
Oppo Reno 4 Series Specifications
TENAA has already spotted both smartphones, tipping key specs, and the style. The Oppo Reno 4 expected to carry an AMOLED display of 6.43 inches while the Reno 4 Pro is tipped to pack an AMOLED display of 6.55 inches. As part of the hole-punch cutout, the Oppo Reno 4 is said to have a dual selfie camera, while the Reno 4 Pro is said to have a single hole-punch display.
Also except for the Oppo Reno 4 and the Reno 4 Pro, there is a triple camera setup at the back, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 G SoC is tipped in. For each phone, there will be two versions, 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage, and 256 GB storage with 12 GB RAM. Also, these phones are tipped to run ColourOS 7.1 over Android 10. We can expect the Reno 4 to pack 4,000, based on the TENAA certification.
The camera hardware on these phones is said to be different, the Reno 4 is tipped to include a 48MP primary camera, 8MP wide-angle-camera, and a 2MP portrait camera. The Reno 4 Pro is also said to include a 48MP primary camera but with OIS, the other two sensors are said to be 12MP low-light video camera and a 13MP telephoto shooter.
