LG Velvet smartphone specifications have surfaced online ahead of its official launch. The new LG phone appears to have 8GB of RAM and a 16MP selfie camera. The South Korean tech giant has already confirmed that the LG Velvet phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC and offered in four color options. This LG smartphone launch date is scheduled for May 7 officially through an online event.
On South Korean forums Meeco.kr has surfaced a specification sheet which is assumed to be of the LG Velvet phone. A tipster on Twitter who goes by username Sleepy Kuma has also posted the specification sheet.

The details on the specification sheet suggest that the new LG Velvet phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes 48MP primary camera, 8MP secondary sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. It also specified that this mobile featured a 16MP selfie camera.
In terms of storage, the LG Velvet mobile appears to have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that can be expandable up to 2TB via microSD.
The specs sheet also lists IP68 certification, 4,300mAh battery, and runs on Snapdragon 675 SoC. The phone is said to come with a fingerprint sensor on display and have stereo speakers, coupled with artificial intelligence (AI) powered sound. LG also offers wireless charging support along with fast wired charging. It measures 167.1x74x7.85mm and weighs 180 grams.
LG has recently announced that the Velvet will come in the color options of Illusion Sunset, Aurora Blue, Aurora Gray, and Aurora White. The LG Velvet phone launch will take place through an online-only event in South Korea on May 7. The LG phone is likely to arrive in global markets shortly after its launch next month.
