Honor 8A Prime Launched with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC: Price, Specifications

Honor has launched a new smartphone to its line-up named Honor 8A Prime. The new Honor 8A Prime smartphone is merely a rebranded version of the Honor 8A Pro launched a year ago. The latest Honor mobile powered by the low-end MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and the rest of the hardware is decidedly entry-level as well. The company launches the Honor 8A Prime mobile with a price tag of almost 30% lower compared to the previous Honor 8A Pro price.

Honor 8A Prime mobile comes in a single 3GB + 32GB storage variant that costs RUB 9,990 (roughly Rs 9,600) and is listed on the official Honor e-store in Russia. This Honor phone comes in Blue, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black color options.

Honor 8A Prime Specifications

Honor 8A Prime smartphone is a dual-SIM phone that runs the dated Android Pie with EMUI 9.0 skin on top. It features a 6.088-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) IPS display, runs on octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with a 3GB of RAM.

The Honor latest mobile comes with a 13MP snapper at the back, 8MP selfie shooter, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. The Honor 8A Prime camera can capture full-HD videos at 30fps frame rate.

Honor 8A Prime packs 32GB of onboard storage and it can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB). The phone comes equipped with a non-removable 3020mAh battery. Connectivity options on the Honor 8A Prime include a 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.2.
